14–DEC–2021 The Bell 407 crashed on the I–10 highway's Bonnet Carre Spillway Bridge, LaPlace, St. John Parish after striking overhead powerlines, and was destroyed by fire.

The aircraft was heading to the near by Lakefront Airport, New Orleans to pick up passengers. Visibility in post–accident video is poor. Press reports are the pilot flew helicopters for a Baton Rouge–based industrial construction company.
